- This standard specifies the test method for the determination of the dynamic cushioning properties of porous rubber materials and rigid and soft porous plastics. By measuring the maximum deceleration when the object falls on the test piece. This test is primarily used for addiction assurance. Moreover, this test is also used to obtain design data, so the notes in Appendix A can be helpful for design data. This standard applies only to packaging materials.
