- This standard specifies AC ventilators and AC ventilation fans for household and similar purposes used for mechanical ventilation, which are used on single-phase AC lines not exceeding 250V, with input power not exceeding 500W and impeller diameters not exceeding 0.5m, driven by single-phase AC motors. The definition, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of its governor (hereinafter referred to as ventilation fan). This standard applies to partition wall type (Type A) ventilation fans; free intake type (B type) ventilation fans; free exhaust type (C type) ventilation fans; full duct type (D type) ventilation fans. Can be referred to as A-type, B-type, C-type, D-type ventilation fans. This standard does not apply to ventilating fans for other purposes, including: ventilating fans specially designed for industrial use; ventilating fans intended for special conditions, such as where corrosive or explosive gases (dust, steam or gas) exist; Ventilation fans for heaters, freezers or air conditioners; ventilation fans incorporated in appliances such as stoves and microwave cooking appliances; marine ventilation fans.
