Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for cable trays and conduit systems dedicated to, and, where necessary, isolating, conductors, cables or cords of electrical installations and/or other electrical equipment. This standard does not apply to conduits, cable trays or ladders (cable trays) or current-carrying parts in this system.
