Scope

This section specifies the maximum outer diameter of enamelled round winding wire. NOTE: This standard should be used as the basis for developing standards for any type of insulated enameled wire. If a certain type of insulated enameled wire cannot comply with this standard for technical reasons, it shall be clearly stated in the product standard.
