GB/T 5560-2003 Nonionic surface active agents--Determination of polyethylene glycols and non-ionic active matter(adducts)--Weilbull method (English Version)
This standard specifies the method for determining the content of polyethylene glycol and non-ionic active substances (adducts) in fatty alcohols and ethoxylated derivatives of alkylphenols. The Weilbull method can determine both non-ionic active substances (adducts) and polyethylene glycol content. This standard applies to nonionic surfactants with addition numbers of 2 to 80 oxyethylene groups. The corresponding molecular formula (1) and molecular formula (2) of alkyl polyethoxylate are as follows: RO(CH2CH20)nOH…………………………………………………… …………………(1) R---o(cH2CH20)nOH……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… In (2) where: n— ——is the average number of oxyethylene groups on the polyoxyethylene chain in the molecule; R——R in the molecular formula (1) is a linear or branched alkyl group, usually C10-C18; R——in the molecular formula (2) R is a branched alkyl group, usually nonyl or octyl.
