Scope

This standard specifies three test methods for evaluating organic contamination of vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic rubber; Method A—contact pollution and migration pollution; Method B—extraction pollution; Method C—penetration pollution. This standard applies to the evaluation of the pollution level of vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic rubber in contact with organic substances.
