Scope

Human-centered design activities run through the entire life cycle of computer-based interactive systems. This standard provides guidance on human-centered design activities. Targeted at managers of the design process, it provides guidance on sources of information and standards for human-centered design approaches. This standard deals with the hardware part and the software part of the interactive system. NOTE: Computer-based interactive systems vary in size and complexity. For example: finished software (packaged with shrink film on the market), customs office systems, factory monitoring systems, automated banking systems, and consumer goods. This standard addresses project planning and management of human-centred design, but does not cover all aspects of project management. This standard outlines human-centred design activities. It does not elaborate on the methods and techniques required for human-centred design, nor does it elaborate on issues related to health and safety. Since the main users of this standard are project managers, this standard only elaborates on the technical aspects of ergonomics to the necessary depth in order to allow managers to understand the role of technical aspects of ergonomics in the design process as a whole. relevance and importance. For these issues, as a supplement to this standard, 68/T 18978 (see Appendix A and references) has given a more complete elaboration. GB/T l8978 is mainly aimed at system developers, norm makers and buyers. Nevertheless, all parties involved in the development of a human-centred system, including the end users of the system, should be guided by the relevant parts of this standard.
