Scope

This standard specifies the preferred series of common threads (metric threads for general purposes). This series is selected from the common thread standard series stipulated in GB/T 193-2003, and its nominal diameter ranges from 1mm to 64mm. This standard applies to screws, bolts and nuts and the preferred series of ordinary threads used in general engineering.
