- This standard specifies the models, basic parameters, dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, storage and transportation and quality assurance period of capacitor-operated asynchronous motors and shaded-pole asynchronous motors for AC fans. This standard applies to capacitor run asynchronous motors and shaded pole asynchronous motors for AC fans. The AC fan motor (hereinafter referred to as the motor) refers to the head part above the fan connector except for the connecting rod, the outer casing, the net cover, and the fan blade (wing). When some properties are related to certain accessories, they are described in the relevant clauses of this standard.
