Scope

This standard specifies the injection method of position tolerance. The position tolerance method given in this standard is applicable to the positioning of points, straight lines and planes, such as the center of a ball, the axis of a hole or shaft, and the center plane of a groove. Note: For non-straight lines or non-planes, the contour tolerance injection method can be used.
