- This standard specifies the basic concepts and rules for a computer-understandable manufacturing enterprise model to facilitate the interoperability of various processes in the enterprise. This International Standard does not define standard enterprise processes, standard enterprises, standard organizations or standard data. In addition, this standard does not specify the process of enterprise modeling, but only establishes a basis so that enterprise modeling standards can be developed when needed.
