Scope: This standard specifies the test method for the diffuse transmission visual density of microforms. According to the quality of the source document to be photographed and the production requirements of the microform, this standard lists the control range of the image density value of the first-generation silver-gelatin microform of the source document. This standard applies to negative image microforms of source documents. This standard does not apply to the technical drawing microforms involved in GB/T 8989-1998, nor does it apply to the diazo film and microfoam film microforms involved in GB/T 13984-1992 and the microforms of GB/T 17294-1998 COM Microforms.
