Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, labeling, transportation and storage of food additive lactic acid. This standard is applicable to the mixture of lactic acid and lactic anhydride obtained from starch and sugar as raw materials and fermented by Lactobacillus and Rhizopus oryzae. It can be used as a preservative, sour agent, etc. in the food industry.
