Scope: This standard specifies the basic principles for the safety management of coatings and related chemicals used in coating (coating, coating, the same below), coating process, coating equipment, workplaces and coating construction. This standard applies to the coating operations using paints and related chemicals (including organic solvents) on metal or non-metal surfaces, including open-air coating operations, internal and external coating operations of buildings and structures, plastic products, textiles, leather products, varnished cloth, etc. Non-metallic coating, coating, printing and dyeing, glazing and other organic solvent operations.
