- This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of portable brush cutters and lawn mowers. This standard applies to side-mounted and hand-held brush cutters powered by internal combustion engines. Backpack brush cutters and lawn mowers are also applicable to this standard except for the balance of the whole machine.
