- Scope
- This part of GB/T l8997 specifies the aluminum-plastic composite pressure pipe (referred to as aluminum-plastic pipe or Aluminum-plastic composite pipe) definitions, classifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage, and basic requirements for raw materials for the production of aluminum-plastic pipes. This part is applicable to aluminum-plastic materials for conveying fluids under the maximum allowable working pressure (cold water, hot and cold drinking water distribution systems and water supply distribution systems; heating systems, underground irrigation systems, industrial special fluids, compressed air, gas, etc.) It is not suitable for aluminum pipes that are not welded or laminated with plastic cladding without an adhesive layer.
