Scope
This standard stipulates the classification, requirements, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of kaolin products, and specifies the content of silicon dioxide, ferric oxide, titanium dioxide, aluminum oxide, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, and oxide in kaolin. Chemical determination methods of content and loss on ignition of potassium, sodium oxide, sulfur trioxide, manganese oxide, and biphenylguanidine adsorption rate, pH value, whiteness, absorbed water, sieve residue, sedimentation volume, and dispersed sediment of kaolin products , Suspension, particle size, viscosity concentration, oil absorption, hiding power, physical performance test methods of dispersion in organic systems. This standard is applicable to the determination of soft, sandy, coal series kaolin, calcined kaolin and their physical properties and chemical components used in papermaking, enamel, rubber and plastics, ceramics and coating industries.
