Scope: This part of GB/T 6931 specifies the terms, definitions and symbols of V-belts and V-pulleys in V-belt drives, and V-belts and V-belt pulleys in V-belt drives. When defining and elaborating the dimensions of pulleys and belts, both the reference width system and the effective width system can be used, and these two systems are independent and parallel to each other. The general terms and definitions in this section are generally applicable, regardless of which system is used to define pulleys.
