Scope
This standard defines the various elements of RAMS (reliability, availability, maintainability and safety) and their interactions, and specifies a process for managing RAMS based on the system life cycle and its work, so that the various elements of RAMS Contradictions can be effectively controlled and managed. This standard does not specify RAMS indicators, values, requirements or solutions for specific applications in rail transit, nor does it specify requirements to ensure system safety. These shall be specified in various application-specific RAMS sub-standards. a) RAMS specifications and descriptions in all railway applications and at different levels in this application, e.g. from the entire railway line to the main systems located on the railway line and to the independent or integrated subsystems and their components within these main systems , including included software, in particular: — new systems; — new systems integrated into existing systems working prior to the development of this standard, although it generally cannot be applied to other aspects of existing systems; An update of an existing system prior to the development of the standard, although it generally cannot be applied to other aspects of the system. b) all relevant phases of the life cycle of the application. c) The use of rail transit authorities and their supporting industries.
