Scope

This standard specifies the outboard motor, inboard motor and inboard motor used on small boats with a hull length not greater than 24 m - the hydraulic steering system of the outboard drive steering gear and the components from the steering wheel to the joint Requirements, test methods, owner's and installation manuals and markings. This standard does not cover the attachment of the output push rod to the tiller rod or equivalent.
