Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the design, manufacture and installation of extra-low voltage DC electrical systems with a rated voltage not higher than DC 50 V used on small boats with a hull length not greater than 24 m. This standard does not deal with the wiring of the engine provided by the engine manufacturer.
