Scope

This standard specifies the terms, definitions, principles, samples, measuring instruments and tools, measurement procedures, result calculation and errors of the thermal bimetallic bending constant measurement method. This standard is applicable to the measurement of the bending constant of hot bimetal straight strip specimens with a thickness of 0.25 mm to 1.20 mm. The measurement temperature range is: room temperature to 100°C. The measurement method of this standard adopts the cantilever beam method.
