This standard stipulates the allowable value of the maximum unbalance of delivered grinding wheels of various types in GB/T 4127-1997, the outer diameter is equal to or greater than 125 mm, and the maximum working speed is equal to or greater than 16 m/s. At the same time, it also stipulates the measurement method and acceptance method of the unbalance of the grinding wheel. This standard applies to ordinary grinding wheels in the delivery condition. This standard does not apply to grinding wheels that have other regulations on balance inspection in product standards. Note 1: The values given are inherent to the grinding wheel itself and do not include any unbalance of the balance shaft or accessories that mount the grinding wheel on this shaft. All similar devices, including chucks or chuck hubs, assume that they are balanced, homogeneous, and free of geometrical imperfections. Note 2: The impact of unbalance mainly includes: - extra stress on the spindle, machine tool and fixture, - accelerated bearing wear - the resulting vibration affects the processing quality and increases the internal stress of the grinding wheel; - Increase operator fatigue.
