- This standard specifies the safety technical requirements for the launch of gas burning appliances (referred to as burning appliances) on the market and free circulation, conformity assessment and basic requirements. 1.1 This standard applies to: a) Burning appliances that burn gaseous fuels for cooking, heating, hot water production, cooling, lighting or washing and whose normal water temperature does not exceed 105°C. Mechanically blown burners and heating equipment equipped with such burners are also considered as burning appliances. B) In addition to the mechanical blower burner and the heater equipped with such a burner, safety devices, control devices, regulators sold separately on the market, used to be installed in a burning appliance or assembled into such a burning appliance Devices and components (referred to as accessories). 1.2 This standard does not apply to those industrial burning appliances specially designed to implement industrial processes in industrial places.
