Scope

This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, storage, signs, labels, instruction manuals, supply completeness and quality assurance of microcomputer power transformer protection devices (hereinafter referred to as devices). This standard applies to the microcomputer protection devices of transformers in substations and power plants, and serves as the basis for the design, manufacture, test and use of the devices. Refer to other microcomputer transformer protection devices not covered.
