- This standard specifies the index requirements for starch sugar, food additives, hygienic requirements for production and processing, packaging, labeling, storage, transportation requirements and inspection methods. This standard applies to liquid starch sugar and powdery (and crystallized) starch sugar made from starch or starch-containing raw materials through enzymatic or acid hydrolysis.
