This part specifies the framework, concept and methodology of the test, gives the criteria to be achieved when the declaration is consistent with the national standards of geographic information series, and provides the basis for determining the abstract test suite (ATS) and defining the procedures to be followed during the conformance test Framework is provided. Declarations of conformity may be made for data, software products or services, or by specifications (including specific standards or functional standards). The standardization of testing methods and criteria for the consistency of geographic information standards will help to verify the consistency of other standards. Verifiable consistency is extremely important for geographic information users to realize data transmission and sharing. This part applies to all phases of conformance and testing, which are highlighted by the following main activities: a) Definition of ATS consistent with the series of national standards for geographic information; b) Test methods for compliance with the series of national standards for geographic information c) The conformance evaluation process implemented by the test laboratory for a certain client, and finally generate a conformance test report. This part specifies the requirements and provides guidance for the procedures that should be followed when conducting the conformance test of the geographic information series national standards. It contains only the information necessary to: a) gain confidence in the test as a measure of conformity; b) make the results of corresponding tests performed at different locations and at different times comparable; c) facilitate participation in the above activities exchanges between parties. This part of ISO 10000 provides a framework for certification (which may be accompanied by management procedures following conformance testing) in an informative Annex B. The following items are outside the scope of this standard: a) A description of procurement and contract requirements. B) Tests performed in accordance with test methods specified for a particular application or particular system. C) Acceptance testing, performance testing and robustness testing. Included in the framework established in this section is the concept of an Executable Test Suite (ETS). The nature of ETS is such that its standardization is not possible; therefore, the standardization of ETS is outside the scope of this standard.
