- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of automotive GPS navigation systems (hereinafter referred to as systems). This standard applies to the development and production of automotive GPS navigation systems, and is also the basis for formulating product standards and testing product quality. Other automotive electronic products that combine wireless communication data transmission with GPS and have route navigation functions can be used as a reference.
