Scope

This part of GB/T 19352 specifies guidelines for describing the quality requirements for thermal spraying, which are applicable to manufacturers who apply the thermal spraying process to coat new parts, carry out repairs or maintenance. These quality requirements are structured in such a way that they are generally applicable to any type of thermally sprayed structure. These guidelines address only those quality aspects of the final thermally sprayed structure that are affected by thermal spraying and its associated processes (pre- and post-processing, etc.). This standard specifies methods for achieving the quality requirements for thermally sprayed parts, both in the shop and in the field; and for describing the manufacturer's ability to produce thermally sprayed components of specified quality. These guidelines can also be the basis for any interested party to evaluate a manufacturer's thermal spray quality readiness. The purpose of this part is to guide the preparation of regulations or draft contract requirements, and to guide the management of the manufacturing plant to establish the thermal spray requirements of the quality system related to the type of thermal spray structure. This section does not constitute part of any institutional, contractual or regulatory requirements in isolation. This part is used for the following purposes: a) To provide an explanation of the requirements in the GB/T 19000--1994 family of standards, and to guide the establishment and description of thermal spraying as a "special process" part of the quality system; b) When the quality system does not When complying with GB/T 19001--1994 and GB/T 19002--1994, guide the establishment of quality requirements and construction rules for thermal spraying; c) Evaluate the quality requirements of thermal spraying in a) and b) above. The typical application of this part is as follows: - in the contract: to specify the requirements for thermal spraying in the quality system; - for the manufacturer: to establish and maintain the quality requirements for thermal spraying; - for the establishment of structural specifications and other standards for adoption Committee: to describe the requirements for thermal spraying; - for interested parties, such as third parties, customers or the management of the manufacturer: to evaluate the requirements for thermal spraying.
