Scope: This standard specifies the basic conditions for determining the diffuse reflectance factor of paper, cardboard and pulp, such as the spectral, geometric and photometric characteristics of the instrument and the transfer method of the standard value, etc. The measurement of diffuse reflection factor can obtain the following optical properties: blue light diffuse reflection factor (blue light brightness), color, light scattering and light absorption coefficient of pulp, paper and cardboard, opacity of paper, etc. This standard applies to the determination of paper, board and pulp.
