- This standard specifies the method overview, test system, test procedure, quality assurance and quality control, data and report for the high performance liquid chromatography test of the partition coefficient of chemicals (n-octanol-water). This standard is applicable to the determination of the distribution coefficient of chemicals in the range of lgPow value 0 ~ 6 [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], it can also be extended to lgPow value of 6 ~ 10 under special circumstances chemicals. This standard does not apply to strong acids, strong bases, metal complexes, compounds that react with eluents, and surfactants.
