- This standard specifies the types, dimensions and tolerances of straight shank reamers and Morse taper shank reamers. This standard lists two tables for each of the above types of reamers: - the preferred size; - the segmented size by diameter range. Only metric sizes are recommended in this standard, and only metric sizes will be recommended for this type of reamer in the future. These reamers are made right-cut unless otherwise stated.
