Scope: This standard specifies the dimensions of Morse taper and metric taper reamers, and the shank type is straight shank or Morse taper shank. This standard applies to the following types of reamers: - No. 4 and No. 6 metric cones. - No. 0 to No. 6 Morse cones. The following dimensions of the reamer are listed in millimeters and inches: - diameter of the reference plane d; - overall length L; - cutting edge length ι; - distance ι from the reference plane to the end of the tool ₁ ; ——shank diameter d₁, or Morse taper shank size. The taper of the diameter is also listed. Unless otherwise stated, these reamers are right-cutting.
