Scope: This standard specifies the dimensions of 60°, 90°, 120° straight shank countersink drills. This standard only specifies the metric size, and for countersinking with a cutting diameter of 8mm to 25mm, only the metric size is recommended in the future. These dimensions apply only to high-speed steel knives, but production permits, the shank can be replaced by a suitable material, such as carbon steel. Unless otherwise stated, countersinks are made right-cut. Morse taper shank countersink drills are given in GB/T 1143.
