Scope
This standard specifies the nuclear power plant: a) The main design criteria and design measures of the safety-level power system, which enable the safety-level power system to meet its functional requirements under the conditions caused by the applicable design basis events; b) Safety c) Criterion for safety-level power systems shared by multi-unit nuclear power plants; d) Documentation requirements for safety-level power systems. This standard is applicable to safety-level parts of the following systems and equipment in single-unit and multi-unit nuclear power plants: a) AC power system; b) DC power system; c) instrumentation and control (I&C) power system. These systems include the items listed in Table 1. Table 1 Items included in the system to which this standard applies Transformers, connections to nuclear power plant switchyards, switchyards, transmission lines and transmission networks (see Figure 1).
