Scope: This standard specifies the technical characteristics of solid and hollow pin bush chains, small roller chains, large roller chains, edge roller chains, sprockets and accessories for general conveying and mechanized conveying. The chain dimensions specified in the standard shall guarantee the interchangeability of the entire chain and the links used for maintenance purposes. The scope of application of sprocket teeth specified in this standard is 6-40 teeth. The control standard of the sprocket is to ensure the correct engagement with the chain, smooth operation and load transmission under normal use conditions. The standard also stipulates the size h₆ of K-type accessories and heightened chain plates.
