- Scope
- This standard only specifies the accuracy of control dimensions and the surface quality of flow-through parts of water turbines, storage pumps and pump-turbines that affect the hydraulic performance from the geometric similarity requirements of the prototype and model turbines. This standard is applicable to models and prototype turbines, storage pumps and pump turbines that meet one of the following conditions: a) Power of 10MW and above; b) Mixed flow type, the nominal diameter of the runner is 1.0m and above; c) Axial flow type , Tubular flow type, oblique flow type, the nominal diameter of the runner is 3.3m and above; d) Centrifugal energy storage pump, the nominal diameter of the runner is 1.0m and above; e) Impact turbine, the nominal diameter of the runner is 1.0m and above. Prototype turbines, storage pumps and pump turbines whose size and capacity are smaller than the above conditions can be used as a reference.
