This part of GB/T 15469 stipulates some specified overcurrent of reaction turbines under given conditions (such as power specified in the contract, hydraulic specific energy (head), speed, material, operating conditions and operating time, etc.) Method for the measurement and assessment of material loss in components due to cavitation erosion. Whether there is cavitation in the entire or part of the operating range of the reaction turbine should be stipulated in the contract. And the guaranteed value of cavitation should be specified clearly. This section does not include the impact that cavitation may have on other performances of the turbine, such as: - power, efficiency, vibration, mechanical properties and noise of the complete machine; - material defects exposed during operation. Material defects exposed during operation due to wear of wetted parts are not included in the cavitation guarantee.
