Scope: This standard specifies the indication method of grades of iron and steel products. This standard applies to the preparation of pig iron, carbon structural steel, low-alloy structural steel, high-quality carbon structural steel, cutting steel, alloy structural steel, spring steel, tool steel, bearing steel, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, welding steel, cold steel Rolled electrical steel, electromagnetic pure iron, raw material pure iron, high resistance electric heating alloy and related special steel and other product grades. For steel product designation methods not specified in this standard, the designation shall be prepared according to the principles stipulated in this standard.
