This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, naming and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, product marks, certificates of conformity, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of aluminum alloy doors and windows. This standard applies to windows and pedestrian doors for building exterior walls and interior partition walls, as well as vertical roof windows that are manually opened and closed. Doors, windows and vertical skylights used for walls that are not manually opened and closed can be used as a reference. This standard does not apply to skylights, non-vertical roof windows, roller shutters and swing doors. This standard does not apply to special doors and windows such as fire doors and windows, escape doors and windows, smoke exhaust windows, and radiation shielding doors and windows.
