Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification codes, dimensions, shapes, weights and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks and quality certificates, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for bright steel. This standard is applicable to peeled, ground and polished round steel with higher requirements on surface quality.
