Scope

This standard stipulates the determination of Young's modulus, chord modulus, tangent modulus, tangent modulus and Poisson's ratio of metal materials by static method, and the determination of dynamic Young's modulus, dynamic shear modulus, Range of dynamic Poisson's ratio, normative references, terms and definitions, symbols and descriptions, principles, samples, test equipment, test conditions, performance measurements and test reports. The static method part of this standard is applicable to the determination of Young's modulus, chord modulus, tangent modulus and Poisson's ratio of the elastic state of metal materials at room temperature; the dynamic method part is applicable to the determination of elastic materials with uniform material between -196°C and 1200°C The measurement of dynamic Young's modulus, dynamic shear modulus and dynamic Poisson's ratio.
