Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of the relative whiteness of fluorescent whitening agents on textiles. This standard applies to the determination of the relative whiteness of fluorescent whitening agents on textiles. This standard applies only for the purpose of relative evaluation. Application of the calculation formula is limited to samples commercially known as "white".
