Scope: This part of GB/T 19473 specifies the definition, symbols, abbreviations, grades of service conditions, materials and hygienic requirements for polybutylene (PB) piping systems for hot and cold water. This part, together with parts 2 and 3, is applicable to building cold and hot water piping systems, including industrial and civil hot and cold water, drinking water and heating systems, etc. GB/T l9473 is not applicable to fire extinguishing systems and fluid delivery systems for non-aqueous media.
