Scope: In order to unify the geological survey work of water conservancy and hydropower projects, clarify the depth and requirements of survey work, and ensure the quality of survey work, this specification is formulated. This specification applies to geological survey work for large-scale water conservancy and hydropower projects. The geological survey of water conservancy and hydropower projects should be divided into the stages of planning, project proposal, feasibility study, preliminary design, bidding design and construction detailed drawing design. The survey work at the project proposal stage should basically meet the depth requirements of the feasibility study stage. The investigation of dangerous reservoir reinforcement engineering should be divided into three stages: safety assessment, feasibility study and preliminary design. The geological survey of water conservancy and hydropower projects shall not only comply with this specification, but also comply with the provisions of the relevant current national standards.
