Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation storage and retention period of food additive ginger (essential) oil (distilled). This standard applies to ginger (essential) oil extracted from the rhizome of Zingiber officinale Rosc. by steam distillation.
