Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life of the food additive propyl gallate. This standard is applicable to propyl gallate obtained by esterification of propyl gallate and n-propanol under the condition of acid dehydrating agent by heating.
