Scope

This standard specifies the limits and measurement methods for the electromagnetic disturbance characteristics of industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) equipment (hereinafter referred to as ISM equipment) and electrical discharge machining (EDM) and arc welding equipment defined in Chapter 2. Note: The limit values in this standard are formulated on the basis of considering the probability of interference that may occur. If interference occurs, additional suppression measures are required. This standard specifies the limits and measurement methods of radio frequency disturbances within the frequency range of 9 kHz to 400 GHz. This standard also applies to ISM lighting equipment operating in the ISM frequency bands 2.45 GHz and 5.8 GHz. See the provisions of GB l7743 for the requirements of other types of lighting equipment. 1.2 Normative references The clauses in the following documents become the clauses of this standard through the reference of this standard.
