Scope: In order to implement the national technical and economic policies and standardize the basic functions and technical requirements of urban rail transit, this specification is formulated in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. This specification applies to the construction and operation of urban rail transit. This specification does not apply to the construction and operation of high-speed maglev systems. The construction and operation of urban rail transit should meet the requirements of safety, sanitation, environmental protection and resource conservation, and should be people-oriented, technologically mature, and economically applicable. Urban rail transit shall be put into use only after passing the acceptance test. This specification is the basic requirement for the construction and operation of urban rail transit. The construction and operation of urban rail transit should still comply with the provisions of laws, regulations and relevant standards.
