This part of GB/Z 6413 specifies the methods and formulas for evaluating the risk of gluing based on the concept of Bullock contact temperature. Block's basic concept applies to all mechanical parts with moving contact areas. The flash temperature formula is valid for operating conditions characterized by banded or near-banded Hertzian contact regions and sufficiently high Peclet numbers.
